The aim was to reduce maintenance, so in the front garden we put in brick edging and a centre circle area for a new planting scheme. The old lawn has been completely removed and Ice blue stone chippings put down so no more drainage problems and no more grass cutting. In the back garden I removed the unwanted plants and replaced the old retaining wall with a Railway sleeper multi level retaining wall. Ground preparation has been done and new plants planted that are easy to maintain.
