I was called into manage the design of the garden and to sort out the drainage problem. On inspection half the garden was on heavy clay which had to be removed ,that ended up being 18 tons in order to provide a decent depth of imported top soil to be put in for plants to grow with out any problems. A path and natural stone patio has been put in in order to provide a solid surface to walk on to all important areas. My client is planting up the design to their tastes cottage garden style.
