Family Garden for Phil and Catherine

I was kindly recommended by a number of customers I had worked for previously to Phil and Catherine and they asked me to transform there back garden into a family garden. I set to work designing a modern patio orientated at 45 degrees to the house made from Porcelain paving that was influenced by the tiles in the large kitchen dinner area which has two large double doors and side windows with which to view the garden.I wanted to create a connection with inside the house and the garden hence the material choice. I designed a second Patio in the shape of a circle made of Porcelain paving and a dark grey granite block edge , this same block has been used around the lawn to form an edge and doubles as a mowing strip.This Circular Patio provides an area to sit and enjoy the late sun and take in a different view of the garden. I also conditioned the soil ready for phase two of Landscaping works ,Planting and Bark Mulching yet to be done.
